Assumption of the Virgin, with Mary accompanied by angels and mourning apostles, and Christ above in a mandorla carried by angels, fresco, late 14th century, in the nave of Timios Stavros Church, or Ieros Naos Timios Stavrou, Church of the Holy Cross, a Byzantine church built 12th century and extended 14th century, in the village of Pelendri, Troodos mountains, Cyprus.
