Weighing of the Souls, with angel holding palm branch weighing souls on scales tipped by a demon, and 2 angels holding cloths waiting to welcome the saved, fresco, 13th century, in the upper church of St John's Church or Karsi Kilise, a 2 storey rock-cut chapel, originally built 10th century as a small cruciform church, then extended above with an upper church decorated with frescoes in 1212 during the Seljuk era, near Gulsehir, Nevsehir, Cappadocia, Central Anatolia, Turkey.
