Baptism of Christ, with St John the Baptist baptising Christ in the river Jordan, with angels holding cloths, holy spirit descending and personification of the river blowing a horn, fresco, 13th century, in the upper church of St John's Church or Karsi Kilise, a 2 storey rock-cut chapel, originally built 10th century as a small cruciform church, then extended above with an upper church decorated with frescoes in 1212 during the Seljuk era, near Gulsehir, Nevsehir, Cappadocia, Central Anatolia, Turkey.
