3 Hebrew children in the fiery furnace, with Ananias, Mishael, and Azarias condemned to be burned alive for refusing to worship false gods, rescued by an angel, fresco, 13th century, in the upper church of St John's Church or Karsi Kilise, a 2 storey rock-cut chapel, originally built 10th century as a small cruciform church, then extended above with an upper church decorated with frescoes in 1212 during the Seljuk era, near Gulsehir, Nevsehir, Cappadocia, Central Anatolia, Turkey.
