Women at the tomb (left) with myrrh bearers, an angel pointing to the empty tomb and 2 sleeping soldiers below, and Anastasis (right) with Christ pulling Adam from his tomb, chained Hades in hell below and David and Solomon watching, fresco, 13th century, in the upper church of St John's Church or Karsi Kilise, a 2 storey rock-cut chapel, originally built 10th century as a small cruciform church, then extended above with an upper church decorated with frescoes in 1212 during the Seljuk era, near Gulsehir, Nevsehir, Cappadocia, Central Anatolia, Turkey.
