Dormition of the Virgin and saints (left), Donor Vassilios Chamados with his wife and daughters presenting the church (centre) and archangel Michael (right), frescoes, 1474, by Minas, in the Church of the Archangel Michael, or Archangelos Michail, a Byzantine church built 1474 with funds donated by Father Vassilios Chamados, in the village of Pedoulas in the Troodos mountains, Cyprus. The church was later expanded with 2 side aisles, and contains a fresco cycle painted 1474, signed by a local painter named Minas, from Marathasa. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
