Cappella degli Scrovegni, or Scrovegni Chapel, containing a fresco cycle, 1303-9, by Giotto di Bondone, c. 1267-1337, at the Monastero degli Eremitani, in Padua, Veneto, Italy. On the end wall is the Last Judgement, 1306, with Christ in Majesty, 12 apostles, heaven and hell. The chapel was built by Enrico Scrovegni as a private oratory and funerary monument, consecrated 1303. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
