Marble funerary stela with epitaph of the children of Paragorus, Justus, Matrona and Dulciorella, 688-89 AD, in the Palais-Musee des Archeveques de Narbonne, in Narbonne, Aude, Occitania, France. The inscription includes a seven branched candlestick and Glory to Israel in Hebrew and is a very early example of Jews living peacefully in France in the Visigothic period. The Palais des Archeveques or Archbishop's Palace, built 12th - 14th century, now houses the city hall and museums and is listed as a historic monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
