Gaston d'Orleans wing, 17th century, designed by Francois Mansart, 1598-1666, seen from the courtyard of the Chateau Royal de Blois, built 13th - 17th century in Blois in the Loire Valley, Loir-et-Cher, Centre, France. On the right is the South East facade of the Francois I wing, built 16th century in Italian Renaissance style, with its monumental spiral staircase.
