Geghard monastery, or Geghardavank monastery, a medieval monastery complex of the Armenian Apostolic Church, founded 4th century AD by St Gregory the Illuminator, aerial view, in Kotayk, Armenia. In the centre is the Kathoghike or Main Church, built 1215 by brothers princes Zakare II Zakarian and Ivane I Zakarian. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
