Reconstruction of the Gokstad Ship, begun 2021, using traditional Viking methods, at Vikingodden, a shipyard run by Oseberg Viking Heritage, at Tonsberg, on the west coast of the Oslofjord, Jarlsberg, Vestfold, Norway. The Gokstad Ship is a clinker built oak Viking ship built 9th century, excavated from a burial mound at Gokstad, Sandar, Sandefjord, Vestfold, exhibited at the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo.
