The Grand Parterre, the largest formal garden in Europe, created 1660-64 by Andre Le Notre and Louis Le Vau for King Louis XIV, and from left to right, the Fine Chimney Wing, the Golden Gate, the Ballroom, the upper and lower Saint Saturnin Chapels and the Tiber Pavilion, Chateau de Fontainebleau, France. The Palace of Fontainebleau is one of the largest French royal palaces and was begun in the early 16th century for Francois I. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.
