Grand Porche, Cathedral Saint-Samson, Dol-de-Bretagne

Grand Porche or West Porch, part of the earlier Romanesque church, modified in the 14th and 15th centuries, with later reliefs carved by Jean Boucher, 1870-1939, and the South Tower and bell tower, at the Cathedral Saint-Samson, begun in the 13th century on the site of an older church and completed in the 18th century, in Dol-de-Bretagne, Brittany, France. The cathedral is dedicated to one of the founding saints of Brittany and until 1801 was the seat of the archbishopric of Dol. Picture by Manuel Cohen
