Grand salon, Chateau de Sully-sur-Loire, Loiret, France
Grand salon, originally bedroom of Maximilien de Bethune, converted in the 19th century into a living room, with painted coffered ceiling, 18th century furniture, monumental fireplace and paintings of the Sully family, at the Chateau de Sully-sur-Loire, begun 14th century by Raymond du Temple for Gui VI de La Tremoille, in Loiret, France. The castle has been home to the lords of Sully, the La Tremoilles and the Bethunes. It is listed as a historic monument and forms part of the Loire Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site.
