Grave of the family of Charles Pigeon, 1838-1915, French inventor, commissioned 1905, with bronze sculptures of an angel holding a lamp (Pigeon lamp invented and patented by Charles Pigeon), and a bed with life-size figures of Charles and his wife Therese, in the Cimetiere de Montparnasse, or Montparnasse Cemetery, created 1824, in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, France. The cemetery holds 35, 000 plots and houses monuments to the Siege of Paris and the Commune, as well as a 17th century mill tower, the Moulin de la Charite. Picture by Manuel Cohen
