Grave reconstruction, Bahrain National Museum

Reconstruction of a Late Type Dilmun grave, with the skeleton of a man on his side, remains of a lamb or sheep, and many offerings in the form of clay pots containing food and liquids, in the Bahrain National Museum, designed by Krohn and Hartvig Rasmussen, inaugurated December 1988 by Amir Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, in Manama, Bahrain. The museum houses cultural and archaeological collections covering 6000 years of history, with rooms entitled Burial Mounds, Dilmun, Tylos and Islam, Customs and Traditions, Traditional Trades and Crafts, and Documents and Manuscripts.
