Great Synagogue, Nice, Provence, France
Nice Synagogue, or Great Synagogue, designed in Neo Byzantine style by Paul Martin and inaugurated 1886, in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. The interior, with its balcony and arches supported by pillars, and Star of David inlaid in the floor, was designed by Brun. The synagogue was restored in 1988 and is listed as a historic monument.
