Gymnasium, Roman, built 1st century AD, on the slopes of the acropolis in Perga, an ancient Pamphylian city ruled by the Persians, Greeks and Romans, in Antalya, Turkey. The gymnasium or palaestra was a square 2 storey limestone building used for physical exercise and consists of a large courtyard with changing rooms, fed with fresh water by an aqueduct.
