The Archer sculpture, 1968, by Henry Moore, 1898-1986, on the esplanade of the Neue Nationalgalerie or New National Gallery, a modern art museum at the Kulturforum in West Berlin, Germany. The building and its sculpture gardens were designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, 1886-1969, and opened in 1968. In the background is the St Matthaus-Kirche and the Berliner Philharmonie.
