Mosaic pavement of tesserae and inscription invoking the protective genius or Agathos Daimon, at the House of the Mosaic, built 2nd - 1st century BC, aerial view, at Empuries, an ancient settlement founded in 575 BC by Greek colonists from Phocaea, on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain.
