Philippe Debouche, assistant maintenance manager, repairing musical instruments in the workshop in the education centre for children and families at the Philarmonie de Paris, or Philharmonie 1, in the Cite de la Musique in the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, France. He repairs and maintains the collection of 5200 instruments from throughout the world, stored in the basement of the Philharmonie. The building houses a symphony hall by Jean Nouvel, opened in 2015, home of the Orchestre de Paris, and concert halls, exhibition spaces, rehearsal rooms, educational services, restaurant and bars.
