Philippe Debouche, assistant maintenance manager, storing musical instruments in 1 of the 6 basement store rooms at the Philarmonie de Paris, or Philharmonie 1, in the Cite de la Musique in the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, France. He repairs and maintains the collection of 5200 instruments from throughout the world, so they can be used and heard by the public. The building houses a symphony hall by Jean Nouvel, opened in 2015, home of the Orchestre de Paris, and concert halls, exhibition spaces, rehearsal rooms, educational services, restaurant and bars.
