Ketubah, a Jewish marriage contract, between David (son of Mesullam de Gallac) and Astruga (maid, son of Abraham, son of Yoset Algallet or Al Gallit), 1377, ink on parchment with quadratic writing (copy), in the Museum of Jewish History, opened 2000 in the Bonastruc ca Porta Centre, in the Call Jueu or Jewish Quarter, in the old town of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. The original document is in the Historical Archives of Girona. The Jewish community in Girona grew from the 9th century and flourished from the 12th century, when the city housed an important Kabbalistic school, until their expulsion in 1492 under the Catholic Monarchs.
