Khachkar, or Armenian cross-stone, a christian memorial stele in intricately carved stone, with cross and rosette, dedicated to Khachatur, 1545, by Master Vardan, in the Matenadaran, or Mashtots Institute for Ancient Manuscript Research, holding a collection of over 17, 000 manuscripts and 300, 000 documents, in Yerevan, Armenia.
