Khachkar, an Armenian cross-stone, early medieval, 4-sided, outside the Matenadaran or Old Library, built 1908-11, designed by P Zohrabyan, used to house the church manuscript collection until the Soviet era, part of the complex of the Monastery of Etchmiadzin, home of the Armenian Apostolic Church, at Vagharshapat or Etchmiadzin, Armavir, Armenia.
