Khachkar, an intricately carved Armenian cross-stone, outside the gavit or narthex, built 1211 with 3 naves under prince Vache Vachutyan, of Surb Astvatsatsin, or Holy Mother of God Church, built 930-50 under king Abas I Bagratuni, at Sanahin monastery, a medieval complex of the Armenian Apostolic Church founded 10th century in Sanahin, Lori, Armenia.
