Khachkar, St Hripsime Church, Etchmiadzin, Armenia
Khachkar or Armenian cross-stone, with relief of cross surrounded by carvings, inside the west entrance of St Hripsime Church, founded 618 AD by Catholicos Komitas I Aghtsetsi, built over the 4th century mausoleum on the site of the martyrdom of St Hripsime, expanded 18th and 19th centuries, at the complex of the Monastery of Etchmiadzin, home of the Armenian Apostolic Church, at Vagharshapat or Etchmiadzin, Armavir, Armenia.
