Kirklar Church, Mardin, Turkey
Mor Behnam church, or Kirklar Church, built 569 AD, in Mardin, Artuklu, Turkey. Also known as the Church of the 40 Martyrs, it is dedicated to Syriac St Behnam and his sister Sora. The building was the seat of the Ancient Syriac Patriarchate Center from 13th century and was used as a religious school. Picture by Manuel Cohen
