Les Carrieres de Lumieres, Les Baux-de-Provence

Entrance to Les Carrieres de Lumieres, originally the Les Grands Fonds limestone quarry, now used for interactive art exhibitions, at the medieval village of Les Baux-de-Provence, seen when on a cycling tour in the Alpilles mountains and the Val d'Enfer, in the Parc Naturel Regional des Alpilles, Bouches-du-Rhone, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. The quarry closed in 1935 and the site is now run by Culturespaces as a digital art centre, holding immersive digital art exhibitions. Picture by Manuel Cohen
