Library, built 1437-44 by Michelozzo di Bartolomeo Michelozzi, known as Michelozzo, 1396-1472, commissioned and funded by Cosimo de Medici, on the first floor of the Dominican Convent of St Mark, now the Museo di San Marco, Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The room has 2 rows of columns forming 3 naves with a barrel vaulted ceiling and large windows to let in natural light for the copying of manuscripts.
