Limeni, a coastal village on the Mani Peninsula, Peloponnese, Greece. The village contains old stone tower houses, the Mavromichalis palace and the church of Panagia, and functions as the port of Areopoli. The peninsula is home to the Maniots, descendants of the Spartans. It sits between the Laconian Gulf and the Messenian Gulf and houses the Taygetos mountains. Picture by Manuel Cohen
