Longhouse at the Viking farmstead, at Trelleborgen Ring Fortress, a reconstruction of a Viking ring fortress built early 10th century and expanded c. 980s, at the Viking Museum Trelleborgen, at Trelleborg, Skane, Sweden. The circular fortress had a diameter of 144m and controlled the shipping routes south of Sweden. It was discovered in 1988, reconstructed in 1995, and now houses an open-air museum.
