Buildings G, H and I, platforms for temples built 100 BC - 200 AD on a north-south axis on the Main Plaza, at Monte Alban, ancient Zapotec capital founded 6th century BC, Oaxaca, Mexico. The huge central plaza could hold the whole population of the city and held the main civic and ceremonial sites. The site is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
