Mammisi - Temple of Isis - Philae Complex
Columns with papyrus capitals decorated under Roman emperor Tiberius on the external west wall of the Birth House, or mammisi, dedicated to Horus, son of Isis, Ptolemaic, built c. 300 BC, in the Temple Isis, at the Philae Temple Complex, originally on Philae Island, and moved to Agilkia Island in the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam, Nubia, Egypt. The site consists of the Temple of Isis, built under Nectanebo I, 380-362 BC, and later ruins from the Ptolemaic and Roman periods, and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
