Matenadaran or manuscript library, built 11th century and rebuilt 1258-62, with wall niches for storing books and karases or clay jars buried in floor for storing wine, at Haghpat monastery, a medieval monastery complex of the Armenian Apostolic Church, founded c. 976 by queen Khosrovanuysh and built 10th - 13th century, at Haghpat, Lori, Armenia.
