Matenadaran or Old Library, built 1908-11, designed by P Zohrabyan, used to house the church manuscript collection until the Soviet era, part of the complex of the Monastery of Etchmiadzin, home of the Armenian Apostolic Church, at Vagharshapat or Etchmiadzin, Armavir, Armenia. The building was expanded 1981-83. The site is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
