Bone mattock or pick with hole cut for handle, made from cattle leg joints, used for digging and for stripping blubber from whales, discovered at Skara Brae, in the Visitor Centre museum at Skara Brae, a Neolithic village occupied 3180-2500 BC consisting of 9 stone houses and a workshop, linked by passages, on Mainland, Orkney, Scotland.
