Meditation, sculpture in white marble of a veiled woman leaning forward, holding a cross, deep in thought, 1864, by Louis-Joseph Daumas, 1801-87, in La Chapelle de la Trinite or the Chapel of the Trinity in the Chateau de Fontainebleau, France. The Palace of Fontainebleau is one of the largest French royal palaces and was begun in the early 16th century for Francois I. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.
