Village of Montefrio, with the church and old Moorish castle on the hill, one of the main frontier fortresses of the Moors in the 15th century, Province of Granada, Andalusia, Southern Spain. The Iglesia de la Villa was built on the site of a Nasrid castle, whose Alcazaba was built in the 14th century to defend the Muslim kingdom of Granada from the Christians.
