Byzantine mosaic of acanthus decoration with birds, and painted peacock with vines, decorative detail, 5th century, above the windows of the Battistero Neoniano or Neonian Baptistery, an octagonal brick building on an original Roman bath, built late 4th century under bishop Ursus then late 5th century under bishop Neon, in Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.
