Barrel vaulted ceiling of the vestibule, with birds including doves, partridges, ducks, parrots and peacocks, Byzantine mosaic, 6th century, in the Capella Arcivescovile, or Archbishop's Chapel, a private oratory for Trinitarian bishops, built early 6th century under archbishop Peter II, on the first floor of the Palazzo Arcivescovile or Archbishop's Palace, now the Archiepiscopal Museum, in Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. On the left is Christ treading on a lion and snake representing evil, as a young man carrying cross and book, dressed as an emperor. The building is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
