Mummy of Ahmose I wrapped in linen, 18th dynasty pharaoh, 16th century BC, from Deir el-Bahari, in the Luxor Museum, inaugurated 1975, in Luxor, Egypt. The mummy had been moved by priests during the Third Intermediate Period to Deir el-Bahari, along with other royal mummies. Picture by Manuel Cohen
