Jesus waking and calming the storm, mural painted 2018 in Carolingian style by Trine Theut, tempera, in Ansgar Church, built 860 AD by bishop Ansgar, reconstructed 2018, at Ribe Viking Centre, a reconstructed Viking village and living history site, at Ribe, Syddanmark, Jutland, Denmark. Ribe is the oldest town in Denmark, founded c. 700 AD, and was a Viking trade centre and had strong christian connections through archbishop Ansgar from 9th century.
