Musee Calvet, Avignon, France
Art collections in the Musee Calvet, founded by Esprit Calvet, housed in the Hotel de Villeneuve-Martignan, an 18th century mansion, in Avignon, Provence, France. In the centre is a painted cabinet or Kunstkammer, 1623-25, in oak ebony and gilded bronze with oil paintings of the life of the prophet Daniel on oak panels, by Frans Francken the Younger, 1581-1642.
