Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya, or Archaeology Museum of Catalonia Empuries, an archaeology museum housing artefacts excavated at Empuries, in L'Escala, on the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain. Empuries is an ancient settlement founded in 575 BC by Greek colonists from Phocaea, settled by the Romans from 218 BC and abandoned in the Middle Ages.
