Nave and apse of the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe, a Byzantine church consecrated 549 AD by bishop Maximian, dedicated to St Apollinaris, in Classe, Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The nave contains a central altar, 24 marble columns and medallion frescoes of archbishops of Ravenna, 18th century. The apse houses 6th century Byzantine mosaics.
