Nave and organ, Eglise Saint-Eustache, Paris, France
Nave and pipe organ of the Eglise Saint-Eustache or Church of St Eustache, built 1532-1632 at Les Halles, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. Although the structure and facade are Gothic in style, the interior has Renaissance and classical elements. This is the largest pipe organ in France, designed by Jean-Louis Coignet in 1989 when it was rebuilt by Van Den Heuvel. On the left is the 19th century pulpit by Pierre Lepautre depicting the triumph of St Agnes. Picture by Manuel Cohen
