Nave of the Primatiale Saint-Jean Baptiste of Lyon, France. It's a Roman Catholic Cathedral dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. It was founded by St. Pothinus and Irenaeus, both disciples of St. Polycarp of Smyrna. Its construction covers three centuries, from 1175 to 1481 and it blending Gothic and Romanesque styles. Both eastern towers, the first four bays of the nave and vault have been completed between the 12th century and the 13th century. St. John's Cathedral also has remarkable stained glass windows dating from the early 12th century and The central rose window of the facade is particularly admirable. Since 1709 is named Primatiale Gaul thanks to a distinction granted by Pope Gregory VII. Picture by Manuel Cohen
