Bouquet of flowers placed 12th January 2024 atop the newly reconstructed choir roof framework at the Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, built 1163-1345 in French Gothic style, on the Ile de la Cite in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, France. The cathedral was badly damaged in the fire of April 2019, and Ateliers Perrault, a joinery workshop in Mauges-sur-Loire, Maine-et-Loire, Pays de la Loire, was tasked with making an identical reconstruction of the original, using medieval techniques. The team of carpenters attended the traditional ceremony, and Leonard, the youngest carpenter at 19 years old, positioned the bouquet. Picture by Manuel Cohen
