North Mound, Jelling Royal Necropolis, Jutland, Denmark

North Mound, a Viking burial mound built 958-59 AD over an earlier prehistoric Bronze Age mound, in the centre of the ship setting, at Jelling Royal Necropolis, a Viking royal burial site at Jelling, Vejle, Jutland, Denmark. The site consists of 2 10th century Viking burial mounds, 2 runestones erected by Harald Bluetooth and king Gorm, a medieval church built over the Viking church and an enormous ship setting.
